Brent Walker was born in 1971, in Atlanta, GA. Because of Brent’s southern roots, he focuses most of his attention on the Southeast region of the U.S., through his project, The Hidden South. The Hidden South is a photojournalism project that focuses on people who live on the fringes of society. Through these photos and stories, Brent hopes to promote compassionate discourse about the issues that plague these individuals and society as a whole.
